| Proposal: | Addition of a new part 901 "Standardization" comprising the terminology published in ISO/IEC Guide 2, IEC Guide 108 and IEC Guide 109.

- in the file "IEC 60050 - 901 validation.xls", and
- on the maintenance portal in the folder "Items > Draft".

Evaluation stage: The terminology data can be viewed in several ways:
- in the file "IEC 60050-901 evaluation.pdf",
- in the sheet "901 data" in the file "IEC 60050-901 evaluation.xls", and
- on the maintenance portal in the folder "Items > Proposed".
Queries regarding the adaptation of the content to the IEV are contained in the sheet "Queries" in the file "IEC 60050-901 evaluation.xls".
It is proposed to follow the "Normal database procedure" since these terms and definitions have already been approved by the IEC community.

| Justification and explanation: | ISO/IEC Guide 2, IEC Guide 108 and IEC Guide 109 define important concepts for the drafting and use of many IEC standards.
The following editorial rules were applied in the capture of the data.
- The gender has been added to all French terms where it was not already present.
- Synonyms have been transferred to the corresponding fields.
- Document references have been altered so that they are in context: for example, "This IEC Guide" has been replaced by "IEC Guide ###".
- References to other terms within the same document have been replaced by links to the IEV entry concerned.
- The entries have been adapted to the current editorial rules
