NOTE 1 – In the International System of units (SI), the value of ε0 is (4πc02)−1 107 farad per metre, approximately 8,85 pF/m, where c0 is the numerical value of the velocity of electromagnetic waves in vacuum.
NOTE 2 – The electric constant is related to the magnetic constant μ0 by ε0μ0c02 = 1.
